After a week in tedious jobs of document preparation, I have finally finished the application process. My gratitude is first given to Professor Tang, for his cultivation, support and impressive recommendation. I also sincerely thank Prof. Liu and Prof. Li for their kindness to write recommendations for me.

 

An end has been put to the application stage, however, it is not the end of the whole story. Temporary relaxing is a prelude of a truly exciting time. With best wishes in my heart, I feel that a brighter future is approaching. Sliently, I am waiting for the minute when my dream finally turns true.  

 

 

最近几天事情真多,呵呵

 

有些是自己的，有些是别人的

 

- cvpr 2007 deadline过了

- Vista & Office 2007发布了

- Nannan要回国了

- 晓燕要踏上远赴英国留学的班机了

- Yaoyao 获得stanford的support了

- 小呆要当manager了，呵呵

- 欢子要过生日了

- 要去找房子了

- 要忙活申请填表。。。。一大堆的事

- 毕业典礼要举行了

- server1 & server2要升级到64bit了

 

等过了12-15，一切都清闲了。

 

 

 

凌晨零点，汤老师的电话来了。

 

本来认为文章写得挺好的，结果一听老板的口气，心里就虚了。他说：这前面可能整个得改，看着就不对了 。。。。。。

 

后来发现，主要问题不是说文章写得烂，而是我和老板对于根本立意的理解存在分歧，他的emphasis和我的emphasis是不一样的，因此，我的谋篇布局就和他的预期有很大距离了。

 

后来他也理解了我的构思，并且指出了我的立意过高，在review时可能存在的风险。一番讨论后，我们对于修改后文章的布局达成了一致。

 

汤老师对于paper的立意风险的评估，和对于如何布局文章以排除风险的指导，令我深为敬佩。老板的功力确实不一样哦。

 

 

 

 离 cvpr 2007 的 deadline 还有 42 小时。

 

 稿子自己改订多次后，终于送给汤老师了。越到deadline就越想早点结束，一个月下来，人也乏了。

 

 晚上，在安静的实验室里，等待着老板的改稿 。。。。。。
